Fats & Oils

Those that are cholesterol hyper-responders will avoid high saturated fats (butter, Ghee, bacon grease, lard, etc) and utilize avocado oil and olive oil. If you are a moderate or hypo cholesterol responder we recommend reasonable use of butter, ghee, bacon grease, lard, etc. Olive Oil and Avocado Oil are especially good because of the high polyphenol content. Alternating Diet and Fitness recommends limiting seed oils.
